Overview SayBrowse is a voice-first browser extension that lets users control supported webpages with spoken commands. This Privacy Policy explains what information SayBrowse processes, why it is used, and the choices available to users.

Information we process • Google account information: When you sign in, Firebase Authentication provides your account identifier, name, email address, and profile image. SayBrowse never receives your Google password. • Voice and speech information: After you start a voice session, Chrome accesses your selected microphone. Chrome's speech recognition service converts speech to text. SayBrowse processes the resulting command text; it does not intentionally store raw microphone audio. • Page context: To choose an action, SayBrowse reads a limited summary of the active webpage, including visible interactive controls, labels, page title, URL, and relevant values. Password fields and known sensitive values are filtered before transmission, but users should avoid using SayBrowse on pages containing highly sensitive information. • Authentication information: Firebase ID tokens are sent over HTTPS to verify that a request is associated with a signed-in account. Tokens are not exposed to the webpage. • Usage analytics: Anonymous usage analytics are enabled by default and may record popup opens, sign-in outcomes, microphone permission outcomes, general action categories, success or failure, error category, and coarse duration. Analytics events do not include speech text, page URLs, page titles, email addresses, or authentication tokens. Analytics can be disabled at any time in Settings. • Local settings and history: Language, analytics choice, account display information, session state, and recent operation results may be stored locally in Chrome extension storage.

How information is used We use this information only to authenticate users, understand spoken commands, choose and perform requested browser actions, maintain session state, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and measure aggregate product reliability.

Service providers and data sharing SayBrowse uses service providers only as needed to provide or improve its user-facing functionality: • Google Chrome speech recognition for speech-to-text processing. • Google Firebase for authentication. • Supabase for the server-side function that verifies requests and securely calls the decision service. • TypeSafe AI's Jev service to select an action from the limited page context and command supplied for that request. • Google Analytics 4 for optional anonymous usage measurement. We do not sell personal information and do not use extension data for personalized advertising. We do not allow human review of user data except when the user gives specific consent for support, when necessary for security, when required by law, or when data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Retention Command text and page summaries are sent for request processing and are not intentionally saved as a user history by the extension's decision function. Infrastructure providers may retain limited operational and security logs under their own policies and configured retention settings. Firebase account information remains associated with the account until the account is deleted. Local extension data remains until it is cleared, the user signs out where applicable, or the extension is removed.

Security Personal and sensitive data is transmitted over HTTPS. Service credentials are kept on the server and are not included in the extension or exposed to webpages. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices You may stop a voice session at any time, deny or revoke microphone permission, turn off anonymous usage analytics in Settings, sign out, clear extension storage, uninstall SayBrowse, or request account and data deletion from Settings.

Children's privacy SayBrowse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use SayBrowse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Changes We may update this policy when product behavior, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
