About SayBrowse
SayBrowse is currently designed for Google Chrome and supported HTTP or HTTPS webpages. Chrome system pages, browser settings, extension pages, and some embedded or cross-origin content cannot be controlled.
Before requesting support
Try the following steps:
- Confirm that you are signed in to SayBrowse.
- Open a regular HTTP or HTTPS webpage.
- Refresh the webpage after installing or updating the extension.
- Confirm that Chrome has permission to use your microphone on that website.
- End the current voice session and start a new one.
- Check your internet connection.
- Update Google Chrome and SayBrowse to the latest available version.
- Disable conflicting microphone or browser automation extensions temporarily.
Microphone problems
If SayBrowse cannot hear you:
- Check the microphone selected in Chrome and macOS or Windows settings.
- Make sure another application is not exclusively using the microphone.
- Open the website permission controls in the address bar and allow microphone access.
- Refresh the webpage after changing microphone permission.
- Speak after the interface displays “Listening.”
SayBrowse processes speech through Chrome's speech-recognition capabilities. Recognition availability and accuracy may vary by browser version, language, microphone, network, and operating system.
